My nonna never once said the word diet. Her table was always full.
Two simple guides that teach you her Italian habits: a 30-day plan to eat, move and live a little more like nonna, and the Italian way to look put-together and feel confident at any age. It all starts with one rule she never broke.

A good life shouldn't feel like hard work.
You've tried the diets, the step goals and the closet clear-outs. It isn't you. My nonna didn't live well because she tried harder. She lived well because of a few small habits, kept every day.

Welcome to my nonna's table.
I grew up in an old stone house with green shutters, at the edge of a small town in the hills near Lucca, in Tuscany. Three generations lived under one roof, and in the middle of the kitchen stood a long wooden table. My nonna ran that house with a few simple rules. She never counted, she never weighed, and she never left the house without looking cared for, even to go to the market.
Only much later did I understand how wise those rules were. Her first rule is the one I still hear every time I sit down to eat:
We eat at the table, together, and never standing up.

Three Italian habits you can start tonight.
To the table
In Italy, a meal is something you sit down for. Not at the counter, not in the car, not in front of the screen. At a table, and if you can, with someone you love.
The evening walk
In Italian towns, people go out for a slow walk in the evening. Up the main street, around the square, and back. It isn't a workout. It's a way to end the day gently.
Put-together, for yourself
My nonna put on a clean blouse and her small gold earrings to go to the market. Not to impress anyone. Because she was going out, and she cared for herself.
The other habits, and the 30-day plan to make them stick, are waiting in Book 1.
One small habit a day. Thirty days to live like nonna.
No diet, no recipes and no counting. Each day has a short story from my family, one Italian habit, and one small job you can do in your own American home.
- Week 1The Italian tableSit down to eat, fixed mealtimes and a lunch that counts.
- Week 2The Italian dayThe evening walk, the afternoon pause and the sweetness of doing nothing.
- Week 3La famigliaSunday lunch, the daily call and the nonni.
- Week 4Cucina povera, careful with moneyWaste nothing, buy quality once, repair before you replace.
- Days 29, 30Keep it goingYour Italian year, and a look back at how far you've come.
A few good things, cared for. Put-together at any age.
My nonna owned a small wardrobe and always looked cared for. This book shows you her way: no brands, no trends and no talk about your figure. Just fit, care and a handful of pieces that work together.

21 printables you'll actually use.
Print them, stick them on your fridge or inside your closet door, and tick the boxes.

Good to know before you order.
Is this a diet?
No. There are no calorie numbers, no forbidden foods and no promises about your weight. The books are about habits: when you eat, how much, in what order and with whom, plus walking, resting and staying close to the people you love. If you have health goals, please talk to your doctor.
Are there recipes?
No, on purpose. My nonna's secret was never a recipe. It was the table, the time and the people around it. So food appears in these books only as habits, and you can keep cooking the food you already know and love.
Do I need Italian products or ingredients?
No. Every habit works with what you already have in your American home and closet. The books hardly ever ask you to buy anything, and Book 2 names no brands at all.
I live alone, or my family is far away. Does it still work?
Yes. The table habits work just as well on your own: if you live alone, set the table for yourself, beautifully. The family habits work with friends, neighbors and a phone call too. My nonna's Sunday rule was one extra chair, always, so nobody eats alone. That chair can be for a neighbor, or it can be yours at someone else's table.
Which book should I start with?
If you want to eat, move and live a little more like an Italian nonna, start with The Italian Method, the 30-day plan. If you want to look put-together and feel confident in what you wear, start with The Bella Figura Method. If you want both, the bundle gives you both for $32 (bought separately: $41).
I'm not very technical. How do I get the books?
- Click a button on this page and pay, by card, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
- You'll see a download button right away, and you'll get an email with the same link.
- Click it, and the book opens on your phone, tablet or computer. That's all.
Is the text easy to read, and can I print it?
Yes. The books use clear type and plenty of space, and you can zoom in on any device. The contents page and the index are clickable, so you can jump straight to any day or situation. You can print the whole book or only the printables, at home on ordinary letter paper, as often as you like.
Can I cancel after buying?
Because the PDF is delivered immediately, you agree at checkout to immediate delivery, and the 14-day right of withdrawal no longer applies once the download is available. If something goes wrong with your download, just reply to your delivery email and we'll help.
Two ways to spend the next 30 days.
Start another diet, eat another lunch in the car, and stand in front of a full closet with nothing to wear.
One small habit a day from nonna's table, and a few good pieces you love and care for. Simple, calm and yours.
